Two local companies were fined after its representatives pleaded guilty in the Magistrate's Court yesterday to charges of failing to pay income tax.

Doera Sdn Bhd received a total fine of $4,000 for failing to furnish a return of income to the
Collector of Income Tax for years 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014.

Redspade Technologies Sdn Bhd received a total fine of $3,200 for failing to furnish income return for years 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014.

Prosecutor Siti Aisyah Lakim represented the 'Public Prosecutor. Magistrate Dew Norlelawati binti Haji Abdul Hamid presided over the case.
