Body Of Singaporean PSA Worker Found In Riau Islands

SINGAPORE
The body of a 53-year-old Singaporean man was found in the waters off the Indonesian Riau Islands on Friday (Dec 23).
Mr Ilzam Odit, who was an employee at PSA Marine, was reported missing after he fell into the sea during his working hours at Banyan Basin, off Jurong Island at 1.46am on Dec 22, a spokesman for the company told TODAY.
“Search and rescue efforts by PSA Marine and the relevant Government agencies were conducted immediately,” the spokesperson added.
Mr Ilzam was wearing a PSA Marine shirt when he was found by fishermen, and had his Singaporean identity card on him.
Karimun Police are currently investigating the case.
PSA is unable to give further details as it is still under investigation.
Karimun regency is located 50km south-west of Singapore.
