SMSS Hosted Multiple Celebrations in One Occasion

Seri Mulia Sarjana Secondary School (SMSS) celebrated the First Free Day on February 7, in conjunction with the Lunar New Year, National Day and Induction Ceremony of Clubs.

 

As a special tribute to the National Day Celebrations, First Free Day started with 'Ikrar' ceremony, led by Awang Muhammad Nur Amir Zakwan bin Bungsu from year 9B and his team.

 

Spectators were held spellbound by the fascinating range of cultural delights.

 

The students were enlightened by the melodious 'Tausyeh' sung by the Islamic Club and an upbeat musical orchestra by the Musical Ensemble.

 

The audience was awed by the magnificent traditional Chinese Dance 'Tai Zhu' and 'Tai Chi' fan dance by Dance Synergy.

 

In addition to that, Chinese singing contest enchanted the day with vibrant colours and lively vigour.

 

The Induction ceremony witnessed the oath taking and issuance of certificates to all the CCA office bearers of 2016.

 

Another prominent feature of the event was the inaugural ceremony of the newly elected student council 'Big 7'.


Lastly, the CEO, Dr. Mary Lim, staff and students welcomed the Lunar New Year with a spectacular Lion Dance.
