Rain and Thunderstorms to Be Expected Due To LPA

Based on PAG-ASA Weather Forecast, a Low Pressure Area (LPA) was detected at 425 KM East Southeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur at 4:00 AM today. Northern and Central Luzon will also be affected by Northeast Monsoon.
Isolated thunderstorms and cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rains are expected all over the regions of Davao, SOCCSKSARGEN and CARAGA that may trigger landslides and flashfloods.
Palawan, Visayas and the rest of Mindanao will experience isolated thunderstorms and cloudy skies with light to moderate rains.
In Cagayan Valley Region, as well as the provinces of Quezon and Aurora, cloudy skies with light rains are expected.
Metro Manila, Ilocos, Cordillera, and Central Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.
While the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.
Moderate to strong winds are expected from the Northeast that will be experienced over Luzon and Eastern Visayas, while winds coming from Northeast to North will prevail over Eastern Mindanao. Thus, coastal waters in these areas are expected to be moderate to rough.
In other places, winds coming from the Northeast to North are expected to be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas.
