Some 150 Year 6 students and teachers of the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (YSHHB) Primary School yesterday attended a motivational talk and workshop on preparing themselves for their upcoming Primary School Assessment (PSR) examination.

The event took place at the school's multipurpose hall.

The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah by Ustaz Nabil followed with the launching of the workshop by the Acting Principal of YSHHB Primary School, Awang Alimas bin Haji Mohd Ali.

Among the activities that were conducted during workshop include learning management skills by the former Year 6 teachers according to each respective subject, group activities, and a special motivational talk by Awang Iswandi bin Haji Ahmad.

From the talk, it is hoped that it will enhance their self-motivation and set positive thoughts to work harder and give their best in their examinations.

The school believed that the students are capable to pass with flying colours.

Also participating in the workshop was Pengiran Wajeeh Al-Bokiah bin Pengiran Haji Mohammad Hakimmuddin, grandchild of His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah.

The objectives of the workshop are to provide guidance for the Year 6 students on PSR examination preparation, physically and mentally, so that they can perform well in answering the questions as well as to boost motivation to the students to work harder in order to obtain success in the future.

It also aims to raise awareness among the students on the importance of PSR Examination in their future education.
