Top PGGMB Students Awarded Prizes

Three PGGMB schools PGGMB School Sungai Akar, Tunas Jaya PGGMB School Lambak and Tunas Jaya PGGMB School Kuala Belait - have achieved a 100 per cent pass mark in the 2016 Primary School Assessment (PSR) examinations.
The Tunas Jaya PGGMB School Madang also managed to achieve a 90 per cent passing mark.
According to the Brunei Malay Teachers Association (PGGMB), this is a significant improvement for the four schools compared to the previous year.
Out of 105 of the total candidates, 27 students scored 5As.
The schools achieved 98 per cent in Grades A to C, with the highest record being in Bahasa
Melayu, MIB, English and Science.
The Excellent Students Award Presentation ceremony was held at the PGGMB's Headquarters building in the capital yesterday with the President of PGGMB, Cikgu Haji Antin bin Ahad, as the event's guest of honour who presented the winners with their prizes.
Also present were the award recipients' parents as well as the management staff of PGGMB.
The guest of honour presented PGGMB's Full Potential Students Award 2016 to Mohammad Faiz bin Haji Ariffin of Tunas Jaya PGGMB School Lambak and Nur Amira Safura binti Awang Adam from PGGMB School Sungai Akar.
This year, PGGMB schools received a total of 210 new students who enrolled in their four branches.
