With an attractive price reduction of 15 to 25 per cent, it was a lucky day for local buyers to own a Jaguar or Land Rover.

Indera Motors Sendirian Berhad, the sole distributor for Jaguar and Land Rover in Brunei Darussalam, hosted its exclusive weekend promotion event at its showroom in Lambak Kanan yesterday from 9am to 9pm and received overwhelming response from the public.

The one-day event saw customers busy selecting their vehicles from the wide selection of Jaguar and Land Rover cars that were on sale with attractive prices which was reduced by 15-25 per cent from original prices.

The Jaguar range featured Jaguar XE, Jaguar XF, Jaguar XJ and the most powerful and agile F-Type while the Land Rover range included Land Rover Discovery, Land Rover Discovery Sport, Range Rover Evoque and Range Rover.

Customers were excited with the attractive offers, coupled with other special offers for the day which included free service package (from one to five years, depending on models and stocks) and free petrol for one year.

To get a real feel of the vehicle of their choice, customers were also seen busy test driving the vehicles.

Demo cars were also displayed under a tent outside the showroom which gave the customers a first-hand feel of the cars.

"This was part of a global initiative where Jaguar and Land Rover actually supported us and the models available in the exclusive weekend event were the latest models," said Noormala Othman, Senior Executive Manager of Indera Motors.

"The response was surprisingly very good. There were customers who went for test drive a few months ago coming back to buy the car because of the reduction in price," she added.

When asked about new models to be launched, she revealed that "the new F-Pace, the first of its kind SUV under Jaguar, is set to be launched middle of this year".
