Sungai Teraban Murder Case Adjourned, Awaiting Evidences

A Bangladeshi who allegedly murdered a 24-year-old fellow countryman was produced in the Bandar Magistrate's Court again yesterday.
Kausar Uddin, 35, faces the death penalty for allegedly killing his country fellow sometime between May 27 and 28, 2016. The incident took place in the vicinity of Klinik Lama in Kampong Sungai Teraban, Belait District.
DPP Sharon Yeo informed Magistrate Pengiran Shahyzul bin Pengiran Abdul Rahman that investigations in the case have completed and the probe agencies are awaiting DNA analysis reports and other evidences to be furnished.
The magistrate ordered the defendant to be remanded at the Jerudong Prisons and fixed the case for further mention on March 11, 2017.
