A total of 16 teams will be looking to lift the title for the very first time when the Dodgeball National Championship begins today at Sg Kebun Sports Complex.

Eight teams will compete in each of the male and female categories through a format based on Australian Rule Football.

Only the top four teams will enjoy the rights for double elimination.Admission is free for the public.

Tournaments for schools, colleges, corporates and government departments will be held this year following the setup of the Brunei Dodgeball Association (BDAS) recently.

Today's competition will start at 7pm with Target squaring off against Raven G (F).

The final will be played tomorrow.
