The Land Transport Department ( JPD) has informed that tendering is now open to the public to get one and two-digit car registration numbers in the BAR (BAR1 -BAR 99) and BAS (BAS 1- BAS 99).

The tenders will be accepted from January 16, 2017 and the closing date is on February 14, 2017 at Liam.

Bidders must use the Al form which can be obtained from the JPD Headquarters in Jalan Beribi and its branch in Belait District during office hours.

The completed form must be sent in an envelope labelled 'Car Registration Number Tender' or Tawaran Bilangan Pendaftaran Kenderaan' along with a copy of the applicant's identity card, driving licence and a receipt of payment of $25 for each registration series.

JPD reserves the right to not accept and cancel any incomplete forms and received late.

The service charge of $25 will not berefunded whether the bid is successful or not.

The envelope must be placed in the tender box located on the ground floor of the JPD Headquarters in Galan Beribi or JPD Belait District Branch before the closing date.

The minimum tendering value for one-or two-digit numbers is $2,000.

Successful 24` applicants must settle the total bar price and register the number of registrations that are offered in the name of the applicants within six months from the date of notification issued by JPD.
