The Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan Omar 'Ali Saifuddien (PSB SOAS) Mosque recently organised an essay-writing competition for youth and adults, in an effort to encourage more people to write on a range of topics from an Islamic viewpoint. 

Seventeen individuals took part in the competition, which was officiated by Haji Air Hisham bin Haji Masri, the Assistant Director of Mosque Affairs.

Ahmad Fuad bin Haji Hassan won first place for the male youth category, while Munjiàh binti Haji Jahari was the female youth category winner.

In the male and female adult categories, the respective first place winners were Imam Haji Hassan bin Haji Taha and Hajah Rosnah binti Haji Kassim.
