The Malaysian Citizens Association (PWM) Kampong Ayer Charity Golf yesterday received a boost with the handing over of sponsored shirts from Aewon Brunei.

Local and foreign golfers are welcomed to participate in the Kampong Ayer Charity Golf, which is aimed to contribute to the Kampong Pandai Besi A and Kampong Lorong Dalam Fire Victims' Charity Fund on January 22 at the Pantai Mentiri Golf Club.

The event, which will be played on the stroke-play system format, also features around $33,000 worth of hole-in-one prizes comprising a brand new Proton for hole No 7.

There will also be $5,000 rewards for anyone who can hit a hole-in-one for holes No 9, 13 and 16.

Limited to only 84 golfers, the registration fee is $80 for Pantai Mentiri Golf Club members and $100 for nonmembers.

The closing date for registration is today (Wednesday) at 5pm.
