To ensure the smooth running of the upcoming `Nite Ride' bicycle expedition organised by Bicycle Expedition Tutong Volunteer (BEST) that will be held this Saturday, a briefing was held at the Tutong Youth Centre yesterday.

Present to attend the briefing was Kamil bin Lamat, Head of Tutong District Branch of the Department of Youth and Sports.

Also present for the briefing were several officers and personnel from the Department of Road Traffic Control and Investigation ( JSKLL); Tutong District Office; Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah Hospital; Department of Youth and Sports Tutong; Brunei Darussalam Bicycle Association; Tutong Mountain Bike Community; and TCT Tutong.

According to the BEST Chairman, Haji Aminudin bin Haji Abdul Karim, BEST is organising the 'Nike Ride' as an opening activity for 2017, to encourage and gather cycling enthusiasts and promote healthy life style.

Haji Aminuddin also said that the Nite Ride' is open for locals and Malaysians from Miri and Kota Kinabalu.

He hoped they can reach a target participation of more than 200 cyclists from all ages and walk of life during the event.

The distance for the ride is 35 kilometres starting from Tutong Sports Complex and towards Pekan Tutong, Telisai Tutong Highway, Masjid Lama Kampung Bukit Beruang (Pit stop 1) and continue towards the Flyover Road bridge RPN Bukit Beruang towards PDB Sengkarai Primary School (Pit Stop II), and back to Pekan Tutong to finish off towards the Tutong Sports Complex.
