The annual Year 12 Higher Education Evening was held at the Jerudong International School (JIS) Arts Centre last night.

The evening began with an opening address by the Principal of JIS, Barnaby Sandow, followed by an overview of the event by the Dean of Higher Education at JIS, Russell Mann.

Students and parents had the option of attending education seminar sessions for United Kingdom, Australia, United States, Canada, and Oxbridge/Medicine that were held at the Main Auditorium, Conference Room, Foyer Gallery and Side Foyer.

United States Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam, Craig Allen; Australian High Commissioner to BruneiDarussalam, Nicola Rosenblum; Canadian High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam, Marina Laker; Deputy British High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam, Ben Boddy; Deputy Head of Mission at the German Embassy in Brunei Darussalam, Thomas Heilmaier; and the Honorary Swiss Consul to Brunei Darussalam, Pengiran Izad Ryan bin Pengiran Laila Kanun Diraja Pengiran Haji
Bahrin, were also present.

Information booths were also set up to provide information on studying in Australia, Brunei (Universiti Brunei Darussalam and Universiti Teknologi Brunei), Canada, France, Germany, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and United States of America.
