Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan Science College (Maktab Sains) hosted its 15th appreciation night for 2011-2016 Maktab Sains alumni at The Rizqun International Hotel over the weekend.

Maktab Sains Acting Principal cum guest of honour Haji Ismail bin Haji Zainal presented the certificates to the graduates.The evening opened with the national anthem and school anthem, followed by the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa by Md Fazalley bin Haji Hidup, a teacher.

In his speech, Pre-University 2 2016 student representative Danial Hakim bin Zainal Abidin shared his experiences and struggles of being a student at the Maktab Sains, and how determination and camaraderie are key elements in making it through.

The evening continued with a video showcase, presentation of certificates to graduates, presentation of a token of appreciation to the guest of honour and song performances, before concluding with a dinner and photo opportunity for the students and their families.

The event celebrated 200 Pre-University 2 2016 students who completed their studies in December last year.

The ceremony was first held in 2003, and since then it has become a yearly tradition to acknowledge the hard work and success of the students.
