BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN

A group assignment by the final year students of Bachelor of Business Administration (Hops) at the Kolej International Graduate Studies (Kolej IGS) for the module Event Management called 'The Talent Show 2017' was held recently at a restaurant in Gadong.

The event's guest of honour was the popular DJ Izan along with DJ Zura, Hill Zaini and a lecturer of Kolej IGS Senthil Kumar as VIP guests.

The event began with a welcoming speech 8)y DJ Izan followed by performances by local talents namely Ainul Qifly, Zaza Rosly, Darwin, Naim. ALLphabet Band, Awie D'Morris. No Band, Kala and a special two-song performance by Hill Zaini himself. In between, there were also lucky draws.

The event was an openmic night or a live show which served as a platform for local performers to show their talents and create an entertaining social gathering.

This event also provided an opportunity for hidden talents like singers and musicians around the country to showcase their ability to play in front of an audience.

In view of this, the students also provided moral support to local talents by providing a platform
like this in order to promote andacknowledge their capabilities. This is especially important to
those who have not been able ti enter into the music industry.
