Three 21 Year Olds Denied Pimping Charges , Two Pleaded Guilty of Prostituition

In the Magistrate's Court yesterday, Three local men denied pimping charges while two Vietnamese women pleaded guilty to charges of prostitution
21 year old Mohammad Muizzuddin bin Mohamad Zahkrine, Md Wafi Izzwandi A Talif bin Johadri and Muhammad Airman bin Haji Omardani were released on bail and ordered by Senior Magistrate Lailatul Zubaidah binti Hussain to come back to court on February 8 to hear trial dates.
Meanwhile, 25-year old Pham Thi Chung asked the court for mercy and pleaded to be repatriated along with her two-year-old son in Vietnam.
Thirty-one-year-old Tran Thi Kim Duyen appealed for the court's mercy and requested to be repatriated with her three-year-old daughter citing the upcoming Chinese New Year festivities.
The court fixed January 30, 2017 to hand down sentences to the women defendants.
DPP Raihan Nabilah Ahmad Ghazali informed the court that the women came top Brunei between November 2016 and January 2017 on a social visit.
They were arrested in a raid conducted by the Anti-Vice Unit police at a house in Kampong Manggis 1 just before midnight on January 10, 2017.
The police personnel found the women with the men in rooms of the house and collected evidence related to sexual services
