BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN
In carrying out religious deeds in the name of Allah S.W.T, the muslim ummah must obey the conditions that have been stipulated by Islamic law. If the religious practices do not follow the conditions, it is only a futile act. Among them are Intention, that the practice is not against Syarak Law, to be carried out diligently, and an outcome that is beneficial and not removed from basic religious acts. This was stressed upon in yesterday's Friday Sermon.
The imam or prayer leader questioned if we are sure if our religious acts that we have carried out all this time are blessed or not. Nobody can guarantee this, thus every Mukmin or faithful muslim must always carry out religious deeds with hope, where one hopes to gain the blessings of Allah SWT as well as promises by Allah SWT as stated in the Quran and to also worry the religious acts are not blessed. The feeling of hope and worry is an encouragement for all mukmin to increase their religious acts from time to time, enabling him to become closer to Allah SWT aside from protecting us from deviant and sinful acts.
