In response to the  great demand, Brunei’s most established UK university representative James Hon Marketing will be holding a three-day UK Education fair from February 8 to 10 at The Empire Hotel and Country Club.

‘Known for thinking outside the box, local Bruneian UK representative James Hon will be holding the 11th  iteration of its UK  application day. One key difference between ' James Hon’s event is the fact that the students are able to apply to British  universities and receive either unconditional or conditional offers  during the event.

“Spot Offers! That’s the term we coined back in 2006,” reminisced Delon Hon, General Manager, of James Hon, “Whilst our good partner universities such as Exeter, Loughborough and East Anglia are able to offer qualified students on the  Spot Offers, a number of universities are still living in the past and have failed to grasp this concept.” The fair will run from 10am to 7pm daily with the aim of providing ‘A’ Level and ‘O’ Level school leavers the opportunity to speak to university academics and apply to a receive spot offers all in the space of a day.

Students must to bring their latest academic transcripts (including ‘A’ Levels, ‘O’ Levels), a copy of passport and a soft copy of a their personal statement for resident experts to advise on. Representatives from over 20 UK universities and Bruneian UK graduates will be on hand to offer advice on a wide range of subjects for the students, such as the various ‘ courses available, the expenses involved and practical information for a successful three years of a future made in the increasing diverse UK.

Delon mentioned one of the key principals at James Hon is that “no students are left behind.” Students with less ideal A’ Levels grades or those who have missed the advertised entry requirements are still able to obtain entrance into TOP 40 UK universities. Extended Pathways. which lead to Top 40 and top 20  UK universities, are increasingly becoming more mainstream. Parents are invited to come along to learn about the a team and pathway opportunities that exist in Top 20 universities.
