The Scouts Association of Negara Brunei Darussalam through the Messengers of Peace National Coordinator Brunei  organized the Open Day Messengers of Peace (MoP). The programme highlight and disseminate program Messengers of Peace (MoP) among the scouts and non-members.  This programalso intended to promote scouting activities to the outside world especially in Negara Brunei Darussalam. Officiating the MoP Open Day, Haji Awang Badar bin Haji Awang Ali, Chief Commissionerof the Scouts Associationof Negara Brunei Darussalam.

Among the programme  prepared on the open day was watching Messengers of Peace (MoP) videos, online registration in www.scout.org, Messengers of Peace (MoP) sharing session and games relatedto Teamwork and Role-play.

Over 70 participants from Scouts,Venture Scouts, Rover Scouts, Scout's Leader and Commissionerswas present during the Open Day.

The Messengers of Peace is an initiative launched by the World Organisation of Scout Movement (WOSM) for scouts around the world to create a variety of programs that lead to peace, harmony, brotherhood, environmental sustainability, address social problems and etc.
