A blood donation drive was organised on Sunday by the Malayali Associations (MA), at the Blood Bank Centre of Suri Seri Begawan Hospital in Kuala Belait in efforts to serve the local community.

Around 40 people from the Kerala community and of other nationalities, including locals, took part and donated their blood.

Towards the end of the drive, MA's management committee expressed their gratitude to all the donors who volunteered towards this noble cause and additionally the blood bank's staff for their contribution to the drive.

MA also provided some light refreshments for all the volunteers and presented tea cups with the MA logo as complimentary gifts for all the donors and blood bank's staff.

The drive started at 9am and finished at around 12pm.
