A special annual gathering organised by the Cub Scouts Section of the Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association (PPNBD) was held yesterday for nationwide scout leaders, assistant scout leaders and cub scout packs.

The gathering was held at the PPNBD headquarters in Gadong, where Scouts Chief Commissioner Haji Badar bin Haji Ali welcomed all the leaders and assistant leaders whom he

described as "committed and with a sense of responsibility handed down by their parents, who are educating them to be involved in extracurricular activities outside of school".

The 22nd National Scout Camp was announced to take place at the National Training and Activities Centre in Gadong, on March 19-23, with participants from Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan.

Hajah Noraini binti Haji Saidi, the Headquarters Commissioner for the Cub Scouts Section; Junaidi bin Haji Hussin, the Training Commissioner; and Hajah Norrahmat binti Sidin, the Headquarters Commissioner for the Girl Scouts Section were among the notable guests present during the gathering.

Information related to activities and training for all leaders and assistant leaders in the Cub Scouts Section were presented by Hajah Noraini, who is also the Cub Scout Leader at the Orang Kaya Besar Imas Subok Primary School.
