Twelve production staff members from Radio Televisyen Brunei (RTB) are currently participating in a five-day 3D Animation Workshop at the RTB Complex in Jalan Sungai Akar.
The workshop, which will end on March 26, is a joint programme between RTB and the National Broadcasting Service of Thailand (NBT), under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Government of Brunei Darussalam and the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand on mutual cooperation in the field of information and broadcasting.
The workshop is conducted by two trainers from Thailand, Thaveewat Vanichpinyo and Pattawat Pongpanich, who are both experts in producing 3D animated videos.
With the development of New Media Technology, the application of 3D animation in local productions should be favourable to output and work performances in the long term.
In an interview with NBT-MoU Coordinator Surasak Hunsa Chaleekon, he explained that the workshop aims to provide basic knowledge and experience on 3D animation to RTB's production staff.
