A new website of Vientiane Capital (www.vientianecity.gov.la) was inaugurated last week at the Vientiane Administration Office in Vientiane Capital.

The new website is very important, useful, and is a modern tool of the state Committee and Vientiane Administration Office to disseminate policy, rule of law, and outstanding events in Vientiane Capital in national protection and socio-economic development of the Party and State as well as Vientiane Capital’s efforts to attract investment and tourism, said Vice Vientiane Mayor, Mr Anouphab Tounalom.

Vientiane Capital’s website aims to provide convenient access to useful information and disseminate information about important events in Vientiane Capital. 

The website will serve the 26th ASEAN Submit and ASEAN Mayor meeting which will be hosted by the Government of Laos at the end of this year.

The launching ceremony of the new website was attended by Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, Mr Chanseng Phimmavong and Head of the Vientiane Science and Technology Department, Mr Daophet Houang A-loun.
