Lao Govt Gives Certificates of Appreciation to Two Lao Consuls to Japan

Lao Government has awarded certificates of appreciation to Honorable Consul of Laos to Tokyo Yoshihiro Ohno and Honourable Consul of Laos to Nagoya Prof. Tadataka Koide who have been active in boosting the existing friendly relations and cooperation between Laos and Japan.
The congratulatory certificates were presented by Lao Ambassador to Japan Mr Virod Soundara to the representatives of the two awardees on Feb 10 at the Lao consulate to Japan in attendance of consular officers and the staff of Italian Tomato Limited.
At the presentation ceremony, on behalf of Lao PDR, Mr Virod praised and expressed gratitude to the two honorable consuls of Laos to Japan who have significantly contributed to socio-economic development in Laos and strengthened the existing friendly relations between the two countries of Laos and Japan.
He added that the honorable consuls of Laos to Japan have also contributed to health and education and in Laos.
Over the past 11 years, Prof. Tadataka Koide completed his mission and actively contributed to strengthening the existing cooperation between Laos and Japan.
On behalf of the Lao honourable consul to Nagoya, Prof. Natsume mobilised funds to build several hospitals in Laos and improved health care and provided medical equipment.
Honourable Consul of Laos in Tokyo Mr Ohno contributed to the improvement of Laos and Japan’s commerce-industry, education, social culture and tourism in Laos over the past six years of his mission.
