Local Delegates Off to South Korea as Part of Exchange Programme

BERAKAS, BRUNEI-MUARA
Ten delegates from Brunei Darussalam departed yesterday to South Korea as part of the Brunei Darussalam and Republic of Korea Youth Bilateral 6th Exchange Programme that will take place from April 20-29.
The delegates, led by Assistant Deputy Head of Youth and Sports, Syed Mu'iz bin Syed Annayatullah Shah, also included undergraduates and graduates from Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) and Wasan Vocational School, teachers from private schools, Sultan Saiful Rijal Technical College students and government officials.
"We hope that with the 10-day exchange programme, the participants will be able to gain experience and new skills and will be able to implement it here in Brunei," Syed Mu'iz explained in his interview with the media. Also at the send-off was the Acting Director of Youth and Sports, Awang Haji Zafri bin Haji Mohamed as well as officers of the youth and sport department.
The delegates will be visiting youth-oriented places in South Korea including the National Museum of Korean Contemporary History, Gangneung Youth Centre, and the historic sites in Gangneung and Pyeongchang.
