Her Royal Highness Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah binti Pengiran Haji Salleh Ab-Rahaman yesterday graced the first Brunei Swimming Championship for the 7 to 9 year-old 2017. The championship was held at the International School Brunei, ISB. Also present was Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Muda 'Abdul Muntaqim ibni Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Paduka Seri Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah.

His Royal Highness' daughter, Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Muneerah Madhul Bolkiah took part in the championship. Yang Teramat Mulia represented ISB Hammerheads in four categories, namely 25 metre butterfly stroke, 25 metre backstroke, 25 metre breast stroke and 25 metre freestyle. In the 25 metre backstroke category for 7 years old and below, Yang Teramat Mulia won second place with recorded time of 31.94 seconds. Fore category 25 metres Breast Stroke, for 7 years old and below, Yang Teramat Mulia took the fourth place with the recorded time of 39.06 seconds. More than 100 swimmers from 8 swimming clubs took part in the championship including one club from Miri, Sarawak. The championship was organised by the Brunei Amateur Swimming Association with the support of the Youth and Sports Department, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
