Towards achieving Wawasan Brunei 2035, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports have lined up priorities for the implementation of programmes in four areas namely Culture, Youth, Sports and Community. Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja (Retired) Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, the Minister of Culture Youth and Sports, disclosed the matter in the opening remarks for his ministry's budget.

According to Yang Berhormat Pehin, for the upcoming financial year, the ministry will prioritise the implementation of programmes and projects in these four areas. First is Culture, in terms of preserving the nation's culture, history and heritage as a pillar of national unity and identity. Second is on Youth, in terms of enhancing their self-esteem to make them more independent and be able to contribute towards the country's development and well-being. Next is the field of Sports, in terms of providing facilities for sports and recreation towards creating a healthy and active community and improving excellence in sports. And finally in Community, from the aspect of ensuring the welfare and well-being of citizens and residents, as well as strengthening the family institution towards creating unity and peace.
