Liang Lumut Recrteation Club will once again host the carnival “MARITAH KE LLRC, MUKIM LIANG SIRI KE 9 ANJURAN MAJLIS PERUNDINGAN MUKIM LIANG (MPM) DAN KELAB REKREASI LIANG LUMUT" (MKLLRC 9) which will take place from March 22 to March 26 2017 starting at 10 am to 10 pm , to be held at Liang Lumut Recreation Club, Jalan Pantai Lumut, Belait.

In an effort to further enliven the school holidays, the Management of LLRC along with MPM Liang has taken the initiative to follow up Maritah Ke LLRC Edition 8 with this event. It is the intention of the Club and MPM Liang that this event will promote Mukim Liang and to fostering improved ties among the Consultative Council of Mukim Liang with LLRC, and the general public.

In addition, the event is further aimed to provide opportunities and a platform for the participation of local companies and Small and Medium as well as Micro Enterprises such as Bumiputera traders selling food and beverage, clothing, handicrafts and more, as well as an avenue for the community throughout the Belait district and beyond to get together and have fun.

For the event itself, a variety of fun activities for the young and young at heart are planned, such as Henna, Fear House, Parrot Kingdom, Domestic Cat Lovers, Mascots, Malam Bermukun, Performances by Local musicians and dance crews. The Narcotics Control Bureau will also be hosting a roadshow on the dangers of drugs consumption as well as having colouring competitions and quizzes. Further attractions include $1.00 per entry for all ages to Brunei’s first ever waterpark and $20.00 per hour promo for Futsal.
