Bandar Seri Begawan

Given their uniqueness, the products or food produced through the One Kampung One Product have the potential to attract tourists to visit the Temburong District. Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ali bin Apong, the Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism made the remarks during the Bangarku Ceria Programme yesterday morning.

Yang Berhormat praised the Temburong District Office's initiative in launching Bangarku Ceria programme like Bandarku Ceria of Bandar Seri Begawan, hoping that the Tutong and Belait Districts would follow suit. The event facilitates the district residents participation in the weekend recreational activities such as cycling and other events. The programme could also be an opportunity for the mukim and kampung residents to sell their products. Including home-made traditional delicacies and increase their income. Such a programme will also encourage tourists to visit the district.
