Arsenal to move for Arda

Arsenal might be in turmoil, but the Gunners want to make a significant move, with the Times reporting that a £25 million bid for Arda Turan is being prepared.

The Barcelona midfielder has been restricted to a limited role since he moved from Atletico Madrid, but a move to the Emirates could offer a better platform to showcase his talent.

The 30-year-old has three years remaining, but with Luis Enrique departing this summer, a squad reshuffle appears likely, and the Turkey international could be surplus to requirements.

Barca paid £26 million two years ago, and the chance to recoup most of that from Arsenal could prove too much to resist.

United see £95 million bid for Mbappe rejected

Manchester United have been stunned after seeing a £95 million offer knocked back for Monaco super-talent Kylian Mbappe.

The Star detailed how the Red Devils previously made a £69 million offer for the 18-year-old, who has scored 19 goals and added 11 assists in all competitions.

The Red Devils will face stiff competition from Manchester City and Real Madrid, with Les Rouges et Blancs determined to keep hold of the forward after building a Ligue 1 title and Champions League challenge.

Drogba linked with USL move

Didier Drogba could be on the verge of a sensational move to the United Soccer League, with the Pioneer Press reporting that the Ivorian is in discussions to join Phoenix Rising.

The former Chelsea star would occupy one of the international spots on the 30-man roster and could link up with former Blue Shaun Wright-Phillips in Arizona.

Drogba enjoyed a wonderful spell in the MLS with the Montreal Impact, scoring 21 goals in 33 games, and proved that he still has it, despite being 39 years old. Drogba appears reluctant to call it a day, and a move to the desert would be an intriguing one at this stage of his career.

Barcelona to offer Isco huge fee for 2018 transfer

Real Madrid star Isco has just one year left on his contract, and El Pais believes Barcelona will offer the Spaniard a lucrative bonus to resist a move this summer and move to the Camp Nou on a free transfer.

Los Blancos will want to move the 24-year-old on to recoup some of the £25.5 million they paid to Malaga back in 2013.

The Blaugrana will offer Isco a £17 million signing-on fee to stay at the Bernabeu for one more year and sting their eternal rivals by leaving for free in the opposite direction to Luis Figo in 2018.

A restricted role under Zinedine Zidane might be tough to tolerate for a further year, though, despite the exorbitant sum reportedly on offer.

Tap-ins

-- Fiorentina will hope to tie Liverpool and Atletico Madrid target Federico Bernardeschi to a new deal, according to Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The Viola will give the 23-year-old a deal worth £17.3 million over five years, and crucially, any interested clubs will not have a buy-out clause to consider moving forward.

-- Torino are closing in on two of the finest young talents in world football, Turin-based publication Tuttosport reported.

Rijeka striker Franko Kovacevic, 17, and Sao Paulo centre-back Lyanco, 20, are the names in question, with both rated highly by the Granata in their search to boost their squad.

-- Juventus are eyeing up "the next Neymar" in Flamengo super-talent Vinicius Junior, according to Brazilian outlet Globo Esporte.

The Old Lady will face a tough battle to sign the 16-year-old, as Chelsea, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are all interested.
