His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send congratulatory messages to His Excellency Mamnoon Hussain, President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and His Excellency Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan as well as the government and people of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on the occasion of Pakistan Day.

In the message to His Excellency Mamnoon Hussain, President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, His Majesty expressed his great appreciation for the close and long-standing relations between the two countries and people, and looked forward to continuing in enhancing the much-valued ties of friendship and cooperation.

In a similar message to His Excellency Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, His Majesty expressed his great satisfaction for the close friendship and valuable cooperation shared between Brunei Darussalam and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and looked forward to strengthening these ties both bilaterally and internationally.

In ending both messages, His Majesty prayed that Allah The Al-Mighty bless His Excellency Mamnoon Hussain, President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and His Excellency Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the people of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan with continued good health, happiness and the people of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan with continued progress and prosperity.
