Drug Abusers Caught Redhanded

5 people were caught last week for drug possession and abuse during an operation in Sundar, Lawas District of Sarawak. One of the detainees was a Bruneian, caught hiding syabu weighing 0.07 grammes in his clothing and he was tested positive for amphetamine.
3 of the others are unemployed men are from Kampung Luangan Kelilang, Kampung Long Temarub Trusan and Kampung Meriting Sundar while the last one is a primary school teacher in Lawas. Allare tested positive for amphetamine.
The cases are investigated under Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 and Section 12(2) of the same Act.
