Getting to test drive the new Pajero Sport at the media test drive yesterday gave me a sense of adventure, with its feeling of classy comfort surrounding me, being a passenger and driver in the vehicle was certainly a different experience.

Hosted by the Mitsubishi dealers in Brunei, GHK Motors Sdn Bhd, we came to an agreement that the new Pajero Sports has surpassed the quality of its predecessors, as noted by GHK Marketing Executive Amirul Akmar.

He also added that there was minimal difference between the high and low ends of the Pajero Sport, with the most obvious difference being the rim sizes for the high-end (18") and that the high-end also has .a paddle shifter, while both models have the cruise control features.

The high spec comes at 2.4L MIVEC turbo diesel engine mated to a new eight-speed automatic transmission, which is a first for a Mitsubishi model.

Despite having a powerful engine, there is minimal noise in the car's cabin, even when using diesel.

On the 4WD select mode, Amirul pointed out that driver can actually change the 4WD/2WD mode while driving at a slow speed so there is no hassle to pull over to make changes.

Launched earlier this month, the new Pajero Sport is the car to beat its competitors and with its attractive price tag for both the GLS and GL models, it simply gives competitors a run for their money.
