This guy prefers to do a spot of yoga.
He was spotted doing an entire sequence for 20 minutes in the middle of a train from London Euston.
Fellow passenger Jamie Dawson said that two minutes into the journey to Hemel Hempsted the man put down his rucksack then began doing subtle neck stretches.
He said that fellow commuters were peering over their newspapers as they watched the yogi’s routine last Wednesday.
The man, believed to be in his 40s, began with a backward-bending camel pose before flowing into full splits, a warrior position – but stopped short of a headstand.
Drinks company owner Jamie said: ‘It was really amusing at the time. Everyone was looking each other over their newspapers and sniggering to themselves.
‘The guy was completely oblivious. He had his earphones in and was totally in the yoga zone.
‘I’m guessing he must do this quite a lot because he was definitely a regular yogi.
‘It was about seven o’clock and I think he must have had a hard day.
‘The journey lasted about 20 minutes before he got off at Watford Junction and he did the whole sequence on that train. Maybe he’d slipped yoga class or something.
‘This obviously isn’t a normal thing for you to see on the train. It was quite a surprise after a long day at work.
‘He was clearly quite the exhibitionist. I thought it would only last five minutes but he just keep moving on the different poses.
‘He had his rucksack just placed by the doors to the side and he was literally bent over backwards.
‘The carriage was only around half full but he was still blocking the doors for people to get past.
‘He literally had no idea and people were stepping over him to get past as he switched positions around them.
