Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, the Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, yesterday evening arrived in the Republic of Singapore for a two-day visit upon the invitation of Josephine Teo, Senior Minister of State, the Prime Minister's Office, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Transport.
Welcoming Her Royal Highness at the airport were Adrian Tan, Deputy Director-General, Southeast Asia Directorate, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Haji Awang Saifulbahri bin Haji Mansor, High Commisioner of Brunei Darussalam to Singapore.
The programme on the first day started off by visiting the Ministry of Trade and Industry whereby a briefing on the Singapore Story - on how Singapore overcome constraints to become a regional economic player, was presented by Rossman Ithnain, Director of Southeast Asia and Oceania Division.
This was followed by lunch at Bumbu Restaurant at Kandahar Street hosted by Josephine Teo.
The programme continued with a tour of the National Gallery of Singapore where Her Royal Highness viewed the exhibition 'Between Declarations and Dreams: Art of Southeast Asia Since the 19th Century'.
She was received and also hosted to tea at the gallery by Grace Fu, Minister for Culture, Community and Youth.
Later in the evening, Her Royal Highness was hosted to a dinner by Teo Chee Hean, Deputy Prime Minister
and Coordinating Minister for National Security and Teo Poh Yim.
Also present during the dinner were Sim Ann, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth, and Ministry of Finance and Rahayu Mahzam, Member of Parliament of the People's Action Party.
Throughout the visit, Her Royal Highness was accompanied by Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz bin Pengiran Jaya Negara Pengiran Haji Abu Bakar.
