BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN
A Malaysian woman has been brought before the Bandar Seri Begawan Magistrate's Court for two offences under the Immigration Act. 30-year-old Noorazian Mazwan binti Abdul Wahab, was sentenced to 3 months imprisonment and fined 800 dollars for entering and staying in the country without a valid Immigration pass.
The second offence carries a 1-year imprisonment sentence for re-entering Brunei Darussalam without written approval from the Immigration Controller after being officially deported. The sentence is to be served concurrently from the 11th of April 2017.
