Inclusive Model School Open Day

TUTONG

 

There is no excuse for parents not to send their special needs children to school. Furthermore, the government has provided a special school for children with special needs such as the one at the Titipan Kasih Inclusive Model School Block at the Keriam Primary School in the Tutong District. This morning, the school celebrated the 6th anniversary of the block's establishment. The celebration is aimed at giving exposure to the public on the Inclusive Model School.

 

The Open Day was officiated by Yang Berhomat Awang Haji Abdul Wahab bin Apong, member of the Legislative Council, who is also the Penghulu of Mukim Tanjong Maya. 35 special needs pupils are studying at the block. Also present was Awang Samsul Bahrin bin Haji Mohd Hussain, Tutong District Officer. Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Abdul Wahab urged parents with special needs children to send their children o the school to ensure that they receive a proper education.
