A national wushu athlete has raised the country's name after bagging 2 gold medals as well as a bronze medal at the 6th International Pars Wushu Cup that took place in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Awang Mohd Adi Salihin bin Roslan won the gold medals in the Nandao and Nanquan event, and earned the bronze medal in the Nangun event. 14 nations took part in the 3-day competition that began last Saturday. They included Afghanistan, Singapore, Indonesia, India and Bulgaria. Awang Mohd Adi Salihin is the only Bruneian athlete who took part in this year's competition, and his achievement can act as an encouragement to other athletes and raise the country's prestige with excellence in sports.
