Media Conference On The Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship Programme

Students including graduates in the country are given the opportunity to further their studies in Japan under the Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship Programme for the year 2018. The scholarship funded by the Embassy of Japan in Brunei Darussalam is offering 4 types of programmes, namely Research Students, Undergraduate Students, College of Technology Students and Specialised Training College Students.

 

In a media conference held yesterday, Rie Arai Sakumoto, the Embassy's First Secretary said through such a programme, students will be exposed to the Japanese environment and culture as well as enhance their education quality. Research students can submit their applications between the 1st and 30th of May 2017. While application for other programmes are open from the 1st to the 30th of June 2017. Six Bruneian students are currently undergoing studies in Japan.
