The Royal Brunei Armed Forces, RBAF, pays serious attention to the educational accomplishment of the children of its personnel. The deep concern can be seen through the annual awards-giving to the best achievers in conjunction with the RBAF's anniversary.

Some 104 outstanding children of the Armed Forces personnel were awarded with certificates and prizes marking the 56th anniversary of the RBAF. The awards were presented by Yang DiMuliakan Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Paduka Seri Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah, the Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces. The incentive is in recognition of their hard work and outstanding achievement, apart from encouraging them to strive harder in the future. For the parents, they said they would always give their full support, which is crucial in ensuring their children work harder and become top scorers. The children also said that they followed several guidelines before sitting for their examinations.
