IBTE Business School Campus grabbed top honours for the Male division at the Dikir Syarafil Anam between IBTE Campuses Competition yesterday held at Sultan Saiful Rijal Technical College (MTSSR).

IBTE MTSSR Campus was in second place whilst IBTE Jefri Bolkiah Engineering College Campus was in third place.

For the Female division, IBTE Sultan Bolkiah Vocational School Campus was the champion, followed by IBTE Business School Campus in second place and IBTE Wasan Vocational School in third.

The religious event was attended by the guest of honour, Awang Haji Abdul Rajid bin Haji Mohd Salleh, Director of Mosque Affairs, who also presented the prizes to the winners.

The recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah commenced the proceedings, followed by the welcoming speech by Dr. Sheikh Lukman bin Sheikh Abdul Hamid, the Principal of the IBTE Central.

Organised by the Religious and Welfare Body of IBTE MTSSR Campus, this event was held in support of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's aspiration to transform the country into a Zikir Nation and to cultivate the love for the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) among the community of the campuses.

A total of 14 teams from the seven campuses under IBTE participated in the competition in a showcase of talent and passion for Dikir Syarafil Anam.

The Religious and Welfare Body hoped to make the competition an annual event in order to achieve the objective to gather students to participate in similar competitions and to strengthen the relationship between all the seven campuses of IBTE.
