His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, yesterday received in audience His Excellency Doctor Awwad bin Saleh Al-Awwad, Minister of Culture and Information of Saudi Arabia as the Special Envoy to The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, King of Saudi Arabia. The ceremony took place at Istana Nurul Iman. During the Audience ceremony, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam received an invitation from;

King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud to attend the Arab Islamic -US Summit, which will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Accompanying His Excellency Minister of Culture and Information of Saudi Arabia was His  Excellency Hisham  bin  Abdul  Wahab  bin  Abdullah  Zaraa,  Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Saudi Arabia to Brunei Darussalam. Also present was Dato Paduka Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd Yusof, Acting Second Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
