Yesterday afternoon, His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, granted an audience to the Chief Secretary to the Government of Malaysia. The ceremony took place at the Istana Nurul Iman. Yang Berbahagia Tan Sri Dr. Ali bin Hamsa is in the country for the 16th Exchange Visit Program for Senior Civil Service Officers of Brunei Darussalam and Malaysia for three days.

Present during the audience ceremony were His Excellency Datuk Ghulam Jelani Khanizaman, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Brunei Darussalam; Yang Berbahagia Dato' Sri Alwi bin Haji Ibrahim, Secretary General Ministry of Home Affairs; and Yang Berbahagia Dato' Sri Zainal Rahim Bin Seman, Director General of Public Service Department Malaysia. Also present were Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman Bin Haji Ibrahim, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance; Yang Mulia Dato Paduka Awang Haji Mohd Roselan bin Haji Mohd Daud, Acting Minister of Energy and Industry at the Prime Minister's Office; Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad, Permanent Secretary (Corporate Affairs and Public Administration) at the Prime Minister's Office; and Awang Abdul Walid bin Haji Matassan, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Corporate Affairs and Public Administration), at the Prime Minister's Office.
