Emergency Evacuation Exercise Will Be Held at The Brunei International Airport Terminal Building

An Emergency Evacuation Exercise will be held at the Brunei International Airport Terminal Building on Wednesday, May 17th. The Department of Civil Aviation in its press release advises members of the public not to be panicked while in the vicinity throughout the exercise being conducted.
According to the press release, the exercise is aimed at raising awareness on the safety among the officers and staff of the stakeholders at the Brunei International Airport. The exercise also focuses on the procedure, measures and efficiency in handling as well as controlling emergency situation and the efficacy on the need and requirement on the preparation of the Airport Emergency Plan for the Department of Civil Aviation. The exercise will involve officers and staff from the Ministry of Communications, the Department of Civil Aviation, the Royal Brunei Police Force, the Immigration and Nation Registration Department, the Department of Royal Customs and Excise, the Health Services Department, the Internal Security Department, Narcotics Control Bureau, Royal Brunei Airlines and stakeholders at the Brunei International Airport.
