The country's religious authorities are taking measures to strengthen the control on the Food Halal Status at business premises as well as to ensure the food and other products sold and specific services are guaranteed Halal.  As part of the effort, the Ministry of Religious Affairs through the Halal Food Control Division of the Shari'ah Affairs Department will hold roadshows on the Halal Certificate and Halal Label Order (Amendment) 2017 in the country's 4 districts.

In the Brunei Muara District, the roadshow will take place at Dewan Multaqa, Annexe of the Ministry of Religious Affairs on the 20th of this month.  In Tutong District, a similar roadshow will be held at the Main Hall of the Tutong Civic Centre on the 22nd of the month.  Temburong District will hold another session at the Bumiputera Multi-purpose Hall of Bumiputra Complex in Bangar Town on the 23rd.  Two days later on the 25th of May, the roadshow will take place at the Conference Hall of the Municipal Department in Kuala Belait and Seria.  The sessions start a nine in the morning.
