A group of visitors from the Civic Village Programme comprising of 45 of Bruneian graduates from local and foreign universities visited a chilli farm owned by Eco Nadi Agro Biz Company in Kampung Sinaut in Tutong District this afternoon.

During the visit, the visitors were briefed on the history of chilli farming by Awang Haji Ayub bin Suhaili, the company's Manager.  They also had the opportunity to tour the farm which uses a high technology fertigation system to increase the crop.   Eco Nadi Agro Biz Company also owns two other chilli farms in Kampung Bukit Udal and Bangungos.

The main attraction of the tour was the Agarwood or sandalwood farm and perfume processing laboratory in Kampung Bukit Panggal also in Tutong.   The exposure provided by the visit is hoped to inspire the young locals to develop and diversify entrepreneurship in the country.
