BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN

The month of Ramadhan is a very special and important guest of the Muslims.  It brings Allah the Almighty's forgiveness, blessings, bounties or rewards.  Hence it is most appropriate that Muslims grab the opportunities presented by the holy month to gain those extra rewards and blessings for their religious deeds and acts.   The Dean of Shari'ah Faculty of the Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College, KUPU SB highlighted the matter at the Closing and Certificate Presentation Ceremony of the Shari'ah Education Knowledge Workshop on the Rules of Fasting.  The ceremony took place at the university college in the capital this afternoon.

Doctor Hajah Noor Hira binti Haji Noor Kaseh stressed that Muslims who wish for perfect and accepted religious acts must know the rules of fasting in Ramadhan. The Halaqah or knowledge session was attended by 70 people comprising of government officers and staff, uniformed services, the private sector and mosque Muslimah.   They received the certificates from Pengiran Anak Haji Damit Baharuddin bin Pengiran Anak Saifuddin, the Acting Registrar of KUPU SB.   It is hoped the Halaqah had provided the participants with the knowledge on the rules and secrets of fasting which can applied by every Muslim.
