45 mosques and prayer halls as well as five religious bodies in the 4 districts have received forty five thousand, six hundred dollars (45,600) for Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah.  The donation is meant for use in organising events and takmir activities during the upcoming month of Ramadhan.  The donation is part of the Yayasan's annual projects in improving and spreading Shi'ar Islam in the country, especially takmir activities at mosques, surau and religious halls.  Takmir Masjid means enlivening or glorifying the mosques and other religious facilities.

The contribution was presented by Awang Haji Brahim bin Haji Ismail, the Yayasan Managing Director.  In the Brunei Muara District, the donation was received by 11 mosques, 4 religious halls, Kampung Bebuloh Religious Activities Centre and Nurul Islam Association.  In Tutong District, 16 mosques, 2 religious halls and Persatuan Saudara-Saudara Baru or the Muslim Converts Association were the recipients.  Receiving the contribution in Belait District were a mosque, 3 religious halls and the Sinar Islam Association, while in Temburong, the recipients were 5 mosques, 3 religious halls and the Kampung Selapon Da'wah Post.  The presentation of the donations took place at the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex in the capital.
