DARe Continues to Develop Small and Medium Enterprises

DARe (Darussalam Enterprise) welcomed 45 Civic Village Programme participants yesterday in a visit to give them a better understanding of the roles of the statutory body in nurturing and supporting local enterprise.
It was organized by the Information Department under the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), through its Nationhood Unit, Nationhood and Community Division.
DARe Programme Officer Awangku Ahmad Najib bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Bahron and Pengiran Zainul Asri bin Pengiran Abdul Razak, provided an introduction to DARe. Also Awangku Ahmad Najib highlighted the various capacity-building programmes DARe conducts for local enterprise, with the hope of strengthening their business knowledge.
The participants also visited DARe Business Helpdesk, where 16 agencies provide enterprises a platform to log-in business related issues, feedbacks and inquiries.
They are also had the chance to visit iCentre, a start-up incubation centre that works closely with local and regional collaborators to develop and conduct workshops.
The primary objective of the programme is to provide participants a platform to prepare themselves for the real world, ensuring they are capable of overcoming challenges.
